Wanjia Plastics (Rizhao) Launches Smart Manufacturing Upgrade for Global Packaging Excellence
Wanjia Plastics Unveils State-of-the-Art Facility in Rizhao to Strengthen Global Competitiveness
Rizhao, Shandong Province — Rizhao Wanjia international SCM Co., Ltd., a leading exporter of food-grade Plastic Bags, has entered a new phase of intelligent manufacturing with the near-completion of its 55-acre production complex in Rizhao. The ¥50 million facility, currently installing cutting-edge equipment and finalizing cleanroom construction, is slated to become operational by year-end. This expansion underscores the company's commitment to meeting rising international demand while adhering to stringent quality and sustainability benchmarks.
Precision Engineering for Hygienic Production
The two-story facility features three production workshops spanning 15,000 square meters—tripling the company’s previous capacity. Its centerpiece is a Class 100,000 cleanroom equipped with temperature/humidity controls and advanced air filtration systems, designed to eliminate particulate contamination during food-safe packaging manufacturing. Automation takes center stage with German-made KraussMaffei fully automatic blown film machines and Japanese Fuji multi-color high-speed printing lines. Integrated smart controls enable end-to-end automation from raw material feeding to finished product packaging, boosting efficiency by over 40% compared to legacy systems.
Certification-Driven Quality Assurance
Aligning with global export requirements, the facility implements a multilayered quality ecosystem. On-site laboratories now house gas chromatographs and electronic tensile testers for rigorous material inspections, while a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) digitizes real-time production monitoring and traceability. “Our upgraded protocols exceed ISO 9001 and BRCGS certifications,” emphasized Yu, Quality Director. “Every batch complies with EU REACH regulations and U.S. FDA standards, achieving 100% traceability through blockchain-enabled documentation.”
Strategic Expansion in Global Trade
The new base positions Wanjia to elevate annual output to ¥25million. Currently supplying Walmart, Carrefour, and retailers across 30+ countries, the company is capitalizing on regional trade pacts. A dedicated RCEP zone will produce oxo-Biodegradable Bags tailored for Southeast Asian markets, with Thailand's CP Group already securing a ¥10 million annual supply contract. Cross-border e-commerce channels are projected to drive 2026 export revenues beyond ¥20 million.
Rizhao's Industry and Information Technology Bureau commended the project as “a blueprint for green industrial modernization,” noting its 800 kW rooftop solar array offsets 15% of energy consumption. As trade barriers tighten on single-use plastics, Wanjia’s dual focus on automation and eco-innovation could redefine China's packaging export landscape.
